Part of TSE’s mission is to assist people in making connections to their local communities. TSE provides opportunities for people to interact on a regular basis with others within the community. These may include:
- participation in a local YMCA
- volunteering at a nature center

- eating at a local restaurant
- visiting an area museum
- accessing the library
- enjoying a cup at a coffee shop
- and many other activities of interest
